I just saw a picture of me from a year ago and I realized I don't look or feel any different than I did then. Is this how the rest of my life is going to be? Immortality?

I've decided to start reading the bible again...
a little bit each night, just like my sunday school teachers used to say I should. It's weird how these things work out, isn't it?
Does anybody have any favourite bits? I recently re-read the book of Job and realized how rad it is.

I finally beat Cave Story to it's fullest extent, but I didn't find the ending as rewarding as maybe I could've...
But it feels good. I am 2 years late to your Cave Story party.

Simon & Garfunkel - So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright |
] |
I think this is the first time i've been chosen to do a meme! how exciting.
List seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your livejournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.
1. Steve Cash - Southern Boys (As of today) 2. The Beatles - Rain (As of October 2006) 3. Daniel Lanois - San Juan (As of Who Knows but it's still growing on me) 4. Gruff Rhys - Chwarae'n Troi'n Chwerw (As of walking through the park in the rain) 5. Simon & Garfunkel - The Only Living Boy in New York (As of August 2006) 6. Jay-Z - 99 Problems (As of long ago, but today I had a good moment with it) 7. The Knack - Maybe Tonight (As of Mid-summer)
i don't "tag"! it spreads disease

I just made some insane latkes, guys. here's the recipe. i suggest you all make some.
Ingredients:
1 pound - Potatoes, peeled and grated 1 small - Onion, grated 2-1/2 Tbs. - Flour 1 - Egg 1/2 tsp. - Salt 1/8 tsp. - White pepper 1/4 cup - Olive oil
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine first 6 ingredients until blended. Heat oil in fry pan. Scoop a heaping tablespoon of latke batter into oil. Continually turn latke over until they are brown on both sides and potatoes are cooked. Remove latkes from pan and place on dish. Repeat with remaining latkes until all the batter is used. Top with sour cream.
Makes 14 latkes.

Marvin Gaye - Ain't No Mountain High Enough |

I'm almost caught up to where I ought to be for NaNoWriMo

However, I totally despise most of my novel. There are parts of it that I like, but mostly yeah I dislike it.
Also, Marvin Gaye is totally amazing. I don't know how he does it. did it. he's dead.

i don't know that I agree with the bit about Fargo, but I guess I am a Canadian! Somebody oughta inform them that Canadians have a wide array of accents too.

The Shins - Past and Pending |

I just realized that I'm actually writing a long work of fiction. The absurdity just hit me while I was typing. Normally I type one line and press enter, or I write in a scholarly tone for essays and stuff (speaking of which I should be doing school work!!!! OMG) But here I am, actually writing this thing. It's 20 pages so far, that's gross. I probably won't let anybody read it, but here's a few lines.
actually i changed my mind, nobody is allowed to read any of it. nobody is to read any of it aloud
